Vh - Gran Ventana Beach Resort, Puerto Plata

I had a pleasant week at the resort, enjoying the lively atmosphere and great pool area. While the rooms were clean, they felt a bit outdated and cramped, and the service could have been improved, particularly during busy times. The beach was enjoyable, but I found the constant attention from vendors a bit overwhelming. Overall, this resort offers good value for a fun vacation, but there are definitely areas that could use some improvement.

Overall, our family had a good time at the hotel, but a few issues arose that could use some attention. The location was great, just a short walk from the beach, and the staff truly made our stay enjoyable with their welcoming nature. On the downside, the constant smoking in the common areas, especially near where children gather, was quite off-putting. Additionally, we found the variety of Dominican food lacking during our meals.
